IMMIGRATION Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado on Tuesday declared an “all-out war” against fake Filipinos, and vowed to ferret them all out, including those who use money and influence to give them a “cloak of invincibility.”
“The policy is in compliance with the directive from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ensure the integrity of Philippine documents and prevent the entry and stay of illegal aliens,” Viado said.

He issued the warning following the recent arrest of three Chinese suspects, identified as Xu Yonglian, 38; Lin Jinxing, 42; and Cai Xiji, 44, who were found to be illegally working in Davao City.

Xu misrepresented himself as a Filipino and used a Filipino name in his business dealings, despite holding a working visa.

Cai was also found to be holding a working visa for a company located in Binondo, but was actually working in Davao.
